Within this role you will be responsible for calibrating measuring instrumentation and repair facilities to both ISO9001 and UKAS standards. You will be expected to manage the maintenance of calibration certification records and traceability as well as oversee that the mandatory and legislative QHSE aspects of work are implemented and will be expected to lead the Calibration of specialist products, assist in the development and improvement of calibration procedures and participate in external/internal audits as required.
This opportunity would suit either a current Lab Manager or a Senior/Lead Calibration Engineer looking to join a company that operate to the highest standards whilst offering excellent employee benefits.
The Role:
- Responsible for calibration of Micrometres, Callipers, Height Gauges, Torque Wrenches, and Gauge Blocks to both ISO9001 and UKAS standards

The Person:
- UKAS Signatory
- Expert knowledge in Dimensional Calibration
- Understanding of 17025 Quality Systems.
- Strong communications and IT skills
