Our client’s Derby office is looking for a dedicated Executive Assistant also known as a Strategic Executive Coordinator to join the team. In this role, you’ll work directly alongside the business owner, becoming a vital part of a team committed to making a difference for clients and driving the business forward.

As the Strategic Executive Coordinator, you’ll act as an extension of the Business Owner, supporting a wide range of activities from day-to-day operations to team coordination and client relations. This is a varied, operational role ideal for someone with a proactive mindset, curious about how a business operates, eager to learn, and excited about taking on diverse responsibilities. Accounting qualifications are not required; instead, bring your organisational flair, strategic thinking, and a readiness to support a small business across all aspects of its growth journey.

Key Responsibilities
• Business Owner Support: Act as the CEO’s right hand, managing communications, keeping schedules on track, and helping ensure smooth operations.
• Operations Coordination: Support sales, HR, client services, and other areas to help deliver efficient, consistent service across the board.
• Diary & Task Management: Organise the business owner’s schedule, manage competing priorities, and arrange appointments.
• Team Support: Help coordinate the team’s efforts, from scheduling to project follow-through, promoting collaboration and accountability.
• Client Relations: Build and maintain strong connections with clients, making sure their needs are met with a personal touch.
• Project Management: Oversee special projects, ensuring deadlines are met and standards upheld.
• Data & Systems Management: Maintain organised records, databases, and systems to keep the business on track.
