We are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Senior Administrator to join a dynamic team and help drive the smooth operation of our school community for a Specialist Provision in Derby.

The Role
As Senior Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the school, supporting staff, students, and parents while maintaining efficient systems and processes. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, rewarding environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the administrative team, ensuring smooth office operations.
  • Coordinate key school processes, including admissions, attendance, and compliance.
  • Support the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team with strategic planning and data analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and school communications.
  • Oversee HR tasks, such as recruitment, onboarding, and staff records.
  • Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, delivering exceptional service.
Experience
  • Proven experience in a senior administrative role, ideally within an educational setting.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school management systems (e.g., SIMS or Arbor).
  • A solution-focused mindset and ability to work under pressure.
  • A commitment to upholding the values and ethos of the School.
