Our manufacturing client in Derby is seeking a Manufacturing Operative to join their team.
The role offers a permanent position with a salary starting at £23,675, increasing to £24,805 after probation, plus a £20 shift allowance per shift.
Candidates are required to have experience in a hands-on manufacturing role and should be confident using various manufacturing tools.
The working hours are from 3pm to 1am on Mondays and from 3pm to 12:30am on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Our growing manufacturing client in Derby are looking for a Manufacturing Operative to join their team. Complete a range of hands-on manufacturing tasks
Read and understand all manufacturing instructions prior to commencing an operation, this includes Engineering Drawings, Ream sheets, Data Cards, etc.
Use appropriate measuring equipment to verify that all components meet quality standards and specifications.
Carry out in process inspection in accordance with relevant specifications

Manufacturing Operative Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Experience carrying out a hands-on manufacturing role (riveting, counter sinking, deburring, linishing, fettling, assembly and fitting etc.)
Confident using a range of manufacturing tools such as air grinders, air tools, linishers etc.
Great attention to detail
Good communication skills
