Group FP&A Analyst | £35,000 - £40,000 | Derby | Strategic Group Level Role

As a Group FP&A Analyst based in Derby, you'll be central to supporting strategic decisions for this large manufacturing Group, providing data-driven insights that help shape the future of the business. This role offers a great blend of financial analysis, productivity planning, and executive-level support - perfect if you're an ambitious individual ready to make a tangible impact on a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Financial Planning & Analysis: Work closely with the FP&A and finance teams, providing timely productivity, demand planning, and reporting support.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Engage with finance and operations teams to support ongoing business reviews and goal setting, ensuring alignment across functions.
  • Insight-Driven Reporting: Dive into financial data, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. You'll be crafting presentations that turn complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Variance Analysis: Research and explain budget-to-forecast and prior-year expense variances, presenting potential efficiencies and improvements.
  • Executive and Investor Relations Support: Serve as a key contact for the investor relations team, including scenario modeling and executive presentations to aid strategic decision-making.

What You're Like:

  • You are either part or fully ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified, with experience in a similar Finance role. A degree in Accounting & Finance or a related field is preferred.
  • You have solid experience in developing financial reports and metrics, with a strong understanding of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • You have the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritising effectively in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining an eye on strategic goals.
  • You're effective at building relationships and influencing others across different levels within the organisation.
