On behalf of our client, a well-known manufacturing group, we are seeking a skilled FP&A Analyst. This role is suited to an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA-qualified professional with a background in audit or industry, specifically in manufacturing, who have a strong aptitude for data-driven insights and financial analysis to support executive decision-making.

About the Role

As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a vital role in providing financial support to the Group FP&A team, focusing on productivity, demand planning, reporting, and essential metrics. Working closely with finance, operations, and the central FP&A teams, you'll deliver critical insights and analyses to guide strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver FP&A insights to financial controllers on productivity, planning, reporting, and metrics in a timely manner.
  • Identify and address business challenges by developing targeted, actionable solutions.
  • Perform in-depth financial analysis to provide insights for imperatively decision-making.
  • Develop presentations that effectively frame analyses, highlight action items, and support decision-making processes.
  • Investigate variances against forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams across the organisation.
  • Act as a liaison for investor relations, supporting earnings guidance modelling and executive presentations.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, with a minimum of 1 year of finance experience, ideally within manufacturing.
  • Solid understanding of accounting, financial, and operational principles with experience in developing reports and metrics.
  • Proven ability to analyse data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively at all management levels.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping a strategic view.
