We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Finance Manager to work for a growing organisation in Derby to recruit. Reporting into the Finance Manager you will be responsible for a completion of management and financial accounts for a smaller subsidiary of the organisation.
Applicant will have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar role with previous exposure to management accounts, Vat returns and Fixed Assets.
Duties include:
- Revenue recognition with deferred income and accrual calculations
- Control and input of all month end accruals/prepayments in line time-scales
- Assist in the group monthly and quarterly reporting for 7 business units
- Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintaining fixed asset register and calculating depreciation charges
- Inter-company Reconciliations
- Purchase Order Accruals and Review
- VAT returns, reconciliations, and payments
- Work with external and internal audit as required
- Assist in annual stock takes and reconciliations
