Description
- Lead and manage audit teams on a variety of clients, from planning through to completion.
- Review and prepare financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring excellent service and the identification of new business opportunities.
- Assist with the development and mentoring of junior staff, including providing on-the-job training and performance feedback.
- Conduct audits in compliance with internal and external standards and regulations.
- Review and manage the preparation of audit reports, correspondence, and working papers.
- Monitor the progress of audit engagements, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
- Liaise with other departments and senior management to resolve complex issues.
Profile
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 3-4 years of audit experience within a public accounting or professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of auditing principles and accounting standards.
- Proven experience in managing audits from start to finish, including planning, execution, and completion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
