The Finance Business Partner (FP&A) role will support the Group Finance Team, providing key insights, analysis, and financial modelling to inform executive decision-making. This position is integral to helping drive business performance and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Description
- Provide financial support to the finance controllers, focusing on productivity, demand planning, performance reporting, and KPI metrics, ensuring timely, accurate data for decision-making.
- Act as a finance business partner to operations, finance, and central FP&A teams, supporting alignment on goals, performance metrics, and strategy.
- Identify and analyse complex business challenges, providing actionable insights and recommendations to support operational and strategic goals.
- Engage deeply with financial data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for enhanced business performance.
- Prepare and deliver insightful presentations, framing recommendations clearly and helping senior management to make well-informed decisions.
- Conduct variance analysis on forecast, budget, and prior-year costs, proactively identifying areas for optimisation and growth.
- Build effective partnerships across functions and seniority levels, ensuring open channels of communication and collaborative problem-solving.
- Support investor relations by managing earnings guidance scenario modelling, preparing executive presentations, supporting Q&A sessions, and handling ad hoc analysis.
Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong working knowledge of accounting, financial, and operational principles.
- Experience within manufacturing either directly for a manfacturing business or within accountancy practice working with manufacturing clients.
Job Offer
- c.£45k - £50k per annum
