Gleeson Recruitment are working with a business in Derby that are seeking a Finance Manager to join their team permanently after an interim contract period. This is a fantastic opportunity to get hands-on with day-to-day finance operations, lead a small team, and support the accounts function.
This role is a permanent role and would suit someone immediately available or on a short notice period. Alternatively, temp to perm will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently
- Manage and support a small team: Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, and Payroll
- Be the go-to person for questions
- Provide support and guidance to an accounts team
- Collaborate with and provide finance support to 4 companies under the business
- Assist with cash flow forecasting, ensuring the business maintains optimal liquidity
- Work with various finance systems including Business Central, SAGE, Navision, and Microsoft Dynamics
What You'll Need:
- Strong finance experience in a management role
- Knowledge of payroll processing
- Cash flow forecasting and financial analysis skills
- Experience with Business Central, SAGE, Navision, or Microsoft Dynamics is highly desirable
- Ability to support and develop an accounts team
- HR exposure would be a bonus, but not essential
- Excellent communication skills, both with your team and senior management
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
Qualification: Part Qualified / Qualified by Experience
