A rapidly growing SME with an inspirational Managing Director, based in Derby, is actively seeking a motivated individual to join their team as the Head of Finance. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, providing strategic input to decision-making processes, and spearheading the company's ongoing expansion efforts.Key Responsibilities:

Production of monthly management accounts
Cashflow management
Prepare year-end accounts
Budgeting & forecasting
Monitor WIP accounts and implement strategies to optimize project profitability.
Oversee CIS compliance and reporting.
Manage contract costing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project budgets.
Lead project accounting activities, including cost tracking, revenue recognition, and variance analysis.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified/QBE/Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Proven experience in a similar finance leadership role
Experience in producing statutory accounts
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
