We have a truly exciting opportunity for qualified accountants based in East Midlands who will work with Media and Sports clients in a rapidly growing firm.

Your role as an Accounts Supervisor:

  • Working as part of the rapidly growing Project team, you will be responsible for supervising a portfolio of sports and media clients.
  • Overseeing the bookkeeping, invoice raising for contractual income and ad-hoc appearances, credit control and VAT returning for the client base.
  • Providing support on project and transaction services; including preparing cash flow forecasts and business plans to support with business planning, finance raising or transaction support.
  • Collating due diligence information and managing data transfers and any further enquiries.
  • Directly liaising with clients to collate and prepare necessary information to support with MBOs, trade sales and acquisitions.
  • Preparing financial statements from client source records and completing supporting scheduled for management review.
  • Attending client meetings and travel to client sites, from time to time.
  • Guiding and advising trainees/junior staff members in the department, and delegating work that other individuals can undertake.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • You must be ACCA/ACA qualified and have worked in a UK accountancy practice.
  • Have proven experience in accounts and advisory services.
  • Experience using Xero, Bookkeeping services and VAT Return preparation.
  • Ability to work well with clients and colleagues, building long-lasting relationships.
