Role Responsibilities- Providing high-level VAT advisory services across various industries, including property, international trade, and financial services
- Advising clients on complex VAT matters, including partial exemption, land & property VAT, and cross-border transactions
- Identifying VAT planning opportunities, helping clients navigate compliance risks while maximising tax efficiencies
- Managing HMRC interactions, including VAT disputes, technical negotiations, and compliance reviews
- Assisting senior leadership with large-scale VAT projects and technical research
- Keeping up to date with UK and international VAT legislation to ensure proactive client support
- Acting as a key contact for clients and internal teams, ensuring VAT knowledge is applied effectively

Candidate Requirements- CTA, ACA, ACCA, or ATT qualified (or working towards completion)
- Significant experience in VAT advisory work, preferably within a practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of UK VAT legislation and international VAT complexities
- Ability to interpret complex tax laws and translate them into practical advice for clients
- Excellent relationship management skills, with the confidence to handle client queries independently
- A problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- A strong team player, keen to mentor and support junior colleagues
- £45,000 to £50,000 per annum
