Role responsibilities
- Managing a varied personal tax portfolio including HNWIs, landlords, directors and trusts
- Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Providing advice on inheritance tax, capital gains, trust planning and residence/domicile issues
- Acting as a trusted adviser to clients, offering proactive and commercially sound guidance
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members and reviewing their work
- Liaising with HMRC on client matters and managing complex queries or investigations
- Assisting in business development and contributing to team growth and process improvements

Candidate requirements
- CTA qualified or ACA/ACCA qualified with significant personal tax experience
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients independently
- Strong technical knowledge across income tax, capital gains and inheritance tax
- Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience supporting junior colleagues and contributing to team development
- A proactive and commercially focused mindset
