Treasury SupervisorLocation: Derby, DE24 8HG, (Hybrid, 2-3 days in the office, some full-time on-site required)Salary: £29,600 - £33,600

Role Overview:We are looking for a Treasury Supervisor to support the Financial Controller in managing treasury activities. This role will focus primarily on cashflow forecasting, monitoring cash balances, and upcoming payments to ensure the business remains contractually compliant. You will be involved in various finance activities, including banking and payments, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in treasury management who is looking to take on a flexible and collaborative role within a supportive finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain the company’s cashflow forecast, regularly monitoring cash balances and upcoming payments.
  • Review and support the preparation of bank payments and billing requests, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
  • Support the Financial Controller in ensuring compliance with National Rail Contract payment mechanisms and other relevant regulations.
  • Develop and maintain policies for finance and treasury management.
  • Administer the Financial Control SharePoint.
  • Maintain relationships with internal teams and the Shared Service Centre to meet payment and processing KPIs.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations for treasury and other areas as required.
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain treasury-linked contracts.
  • Provide general support to finance colleagues and the wider business as needed.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience in a treasury or finance environment is essential.
  • Accounting qualifications are desirable.
  • Strong ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience in cashflow forecasting and cash management.
  • Proficiency in Excel and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
