We are seeking a skilledReach and Counterbalance Truck Driverto join our Local Client Based in Derby on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a Reach and Counterbalance truck to move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail especially Double Bay Reach, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Patterns / Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 6am to 1.30pm
- 12.48 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate aReachtruck and Counterbalance truckto transport materials and products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from trucks, racks, and storage areas.
- Performpicking and stockingtasks as per order requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure products are stored properly.
- Conductroutine equipment inspectionsto ensure safety and functionality.
- Follow allsafety guidelines and warehouse procedures.
- Assist ingeneral warehouse dutieswhen needed.
- Valid reachReachtruck and Counterbalance truck certification/license(if required by local regulations).
- Experience using the Double Reach Truck to access the second row of pallets is essential.
- Proven experienceoperating a reach truck or similar warehouse equipment.
- Ability tolift heavy objectsand work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
