Candidates must have the following essential skills and experience: * Daily Operations: Supervise the coordination and delivery of day-to-day transport services for SEND students, ensuring timely and reliable transportation to and from educational settings.* Transport Planning and Scheduling: Develop and manage efficient transport schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources and adherence to timetables.* Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary contact for schools, transport providers, and parents, ensuring clear communication and resolution of operational concerns.* Operational Problem-Solving: Respond promptly to transport incidents, service disruptions, or complaints, coordinating with relevant parties to implement effective solutions.* Team Player: assist the managers in supporting and supervising team colleagues.* Contract Management: Liaise with transport providers to monitor compliance with contractual terms, ensuring high service standards and addressing performance issues promptly.* Excellent IT competency levels.All candidates should be great communicators, be familiar with the legislation around home to school transport, and have excellent time management and organisational skills.
