Our client is looking for an ambitious Transport Clerk to join their dynamic team. You will work 9AM - 5PM

About the Role

As a Transport Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the transport department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a passion for logistics to thrive in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and scheduling transport activities to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Liaising with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain seamless communication.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including driver logs and delivery documentation.
  • Monitoring vehicle maintenance schedules and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Assisting with route planning and optimising delivery processes.
  • Resolving transport-related issues promptly and efficiently.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a transport or logistics environment
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using transport management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
