Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and adaptable Adhoc Cover Teachers to join our team in the Derby area. In this role, you will provide cover for absent teachers across a variety of subjects and year groups, ensuring a smooth learning experience for students. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers looking for flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in a clear and engaging manner.
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Manage student behavior in line with school policies.
• Provide support and guidance to students during lessons.
• Ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience working with secondary school students (preferred but not essential).
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different teaching environments.
• Professionalism and a passion for education.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
