The Company

The firm are on a journey of rapid and sustained growth and are currently delivering projects ranging from £20m-£100m on average.

Projects are predominantly delivered on a new-build basis in the following sectors: Commercial, Education, Industrial, MoD, MoJ, Healthcare, Residential

The Role

The role reports into the Preconstruction Director for the business who you will be working closely alongside in the preconstruction department. Typical roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Developing winning bid strategies including chairing bid strategy meetings and presenting these proposals to the senior team.
  • Leading multiple bids at any one time depending on size and complexity. Larger projects will generally be bid separately one at a time.
  • Acting as the Company's lead representative at client engagements, interviews and preferred bidder development meetings.
  • Working with the planners, design managers and delivery team to ensure a fully coordinated, technical design, programme and logistical solution is produced.
  • Supporting the Business Development Manager and the proposals team with Prequalification Questionnaires, Case Studies and Award Applications
  • Reviewing and driving the bid programme to make sure that all deadlines are met by the bid team.
  • Discussing and agreeing the allocation of tenders and work winning resources with the Preconstruction Director.
  • Coaching project teams to deliver high quality post tender interview presentations
  • Working alongside the estimating team to ensure a competitive price is developed.
  • Supervising the proposals team to ensure a high quality tender submission document is produced.
