Your new companyYou will be joining a multi-accredited main contractor based in Derby operating across the power, industrial and commercial industries. This established organisation has a strong pipeline of work and offers excellent opportunities for professional development and to progress into senior management. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Site Manager to join their team.Your new roleAs Site Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of multiple power schemes, from inception through to completion, across England. You will be based on one site at a time, managing subcontractors and direct labour on schemes valued up to £20m. Works will include groundworks, drainage and RC works. You will also be expected to commute and lodge at sites further afield if need be.What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you will have:

  • Previous experience overseeing the successful delivery of civil works (ideally within the power, industrial and/or commercial industries)
  • CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid
  • Ability to manage and lead a team effectively to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Sound interpersonal, leadership and organisational skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
