HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER
MONDAY - FRIDAY: DAYS AND NIGHTS AVAILABLE
PAY RATE: £16.25 - £20.31 PER HOUR
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Derby, Derbyshire.

Day to Day Duties
- Driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently to make 2-3 trunk runs a day
- Curtain side work
- Make on time deliveries
- Communicate with the transport team
- Follow Company policies and procedures
- Comply with driving rules and regulations
- Strapping loads correctly (awkward loads)
Essential Skills
- Hold a valid UK Category CE licence
- Hold UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
- Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving CE vehicles
- Maximum of six penalty points for minor infringements with no major endorsement codes
- Work in a professional manner
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience in strapping abnormal loads would be beneficial as well as navigating tight delivery depots
Training
- You will be required to pass a driving assessment before attending a three-day company programme
