I am seeking a highly motivated and experienced Highway Delivery Lead to join a Local Authority based in the Midlands. Looking for a step up, confident in handling high value projects whilst adhering to deadlines? Then this role might be for you.

In this pivotal role, you will take charge of managing and coordinating highways work programs across key areas, including Highway Maintenance, Highway Construction, and Highway Compliance. You will be at the forefront of delivering efficient and high-quality highways services while driving transformational change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of highways works and resources, ensuring seamless service across operational teams
  • Lead and manage highways work activities, ensuring effective resource allocation and compliance with statutory regulations
  • Play an active role in managing highway assets, supporting lifecycle planning and funding bid submissions

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing and supervising highways construction and maintenance works.
  • In-depth knowledge of CDM regulations and project management principles
  • Experience in budget monitoring and financial management within highway services

The Role is:

  • Hybrid (1 -2 day office requirement)
  • Rate is circa £300 - 400/day (Inside IR35)
  • Initial 3 - 6 month
