About the Role:

Are you ready to bring your exceptional administrative skills to a vibrant HR team? Belcan is on the lookout for a passionate HR Administrator to join our Derby office. This hybrid role offers you the chance to shine and potentially secure a permanent position with us!

What You'll Do:

As a Human Resources Administrator, you'll be the backbone of our HR department, ensuring smooth operations and supporting every phase of the employment lifecycle. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Employee Records: From the moment an offer is made, you'll compile and update employee records, keeping everything organized and up-to-date.
  • Communication: Be the go-to person for managing the HR inbox, responding to queries, and escalating issues as needed. You'll also act as a liaison between HR and employees, ensuring seamless communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.
  • Onboarding: Deliver engaging new starter inductions, making sure every new team member feels welcomed and informed.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain our HRC system, spreadsheets, and HR Control Tower, ensuring all documentation is accurate and accessible.

What We're Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience as an HR Administrator or in a similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software (e.g., Oracle).
  • Basic knowledge of labour laws.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
