The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to maintain and repair various types of machinery and equipment. Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems, including logic controllers, to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Conduct mechanical repairs, including welding tasks as required.
  • Read and interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing problems and implementing solutions.
  • Supervise maintenance staff, providing leadership and guidance to ensure high-quality work standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role with strong mechanical knowledge.
  • Proficiency in electrical systems, including experience with logic controllers.
  • Ability to read and understand technical schematics.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on maintaining high standards of work.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
