Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced NDT Technician to join a specialist provider within the rail rolling stock industry, based in Derby. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on welds, structures, and materials using a range of techniques. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform NDT on various components and materials in compliance with industry standards.
• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment for different testing applications.
• Interpret and evaluate test results, and prepare accurate reports.
• Maintain equipment and assist with administrative duties when required.
• Travel to various locations and work away from home when necessary.
• Uphold a high level of professionalism and integrity at all times.

Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of NDT experience.
• PCN Level II qualifications in MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection) and DPI (Dye Penetrant Inspection).
• PCN Level II in VT (Visual Testing) desirable (training can be provided).
• Full UK driving license.
• Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home.

Additional Information:
