NPI Engineer

This specialist NPI Engineering vacancy centres around injection moulding, projects, design and technical, providing an excellent platform for an ambitious NPI professional looking to further their career in a senior role. 

The NPI Engineers key duties and responsibilities include: - Providing engineering input to the NPI activities- Managing and assigning key NPI projects- Providing technical support to the sales department- Supporting the team in a variety of key internal projects, DFM, process improvement and customer facing engineering support- Tooling and Automation development & validation.- Engineering Change control- You will be the primary internal and external engineering point of contact for assigned NPI projects.- Creating and updating NPI timing plans and gateway trackers.- Managing new tooling/automation trials and associated development to PPAP or equivalent.- Providing technical support for production.- Managing engineering-related continuous improvement activitiesThe ideal qualifications and background for the NPI Engineer role will include: - A formal technical qualification, preferably to a degree level or equivalent (or relevant hands on experience) - Manufacturing experience ideally in an automotive or medical environment- Understanding of the Injection Moulding processes (highly desirable)- A strong understanding of NPI and the surrounding processesIf you'd like to find out more information on the role, business and package, please feel free to reach out directly or apply.
