PDI Engineer - Derby // up to £37,000 + profit share

Platinum Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a PDI Engineer to join a reputable Plant Hire company near Derby offering an attractive salary and benefits package.

If you're an experienced Engineer, this is your chance to grow in a dynamic and rewarding role where you can gain further training and qualifications.

Role Overview:

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for pre-delivery inspections, fault finding and testing, repairs and modifications on a variety of powered access and plant machinery.

The role will require you to adhere to IPAF and CAP guidelines, using your engineering expertise to ensure the machinery is operating at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engineering tasks including fault finding, testing and modifications
  • Work with other engineers to ensure that service schedules are maintained
  • Provide high-quality engineering workmanship and ensure all machinery is operating to the highest standards
  • Ensure that all IPAF and Health & Safety guidelines are promoted
  • Maintain the workshop cleanliness, keeping a tidy and safe work space

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ranging from £33,000 - £37,000 per annum
  • Quarterly profit share bonus scheme
  • Overtime paid at 1.5 rate
  • Manufacturer training and opportunities to progress into Service Engineer roles, completing extra qualifications such as CAP license

Requirements:

  • A background in a mechanical engineering role, ideally with experience with diagnostics and minor repairs
