Plumber - Level 2

Job Title: Level 2 Plumber
Location: Derby (must be based within a 30-minute commute)
Salary: £26,000, with potential to rise to £28,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (8:00am-4:30pm)
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent (6-month review)
About the Role
Our client, working in partnership with Severn Trent Water, is seeking a qualified Level 2 Plumber to join their team. This role involves conducting water efficiency surveys and minor plumbing repairs at residential properties identified as having high water usage.
You will:
·Carry out water efficiency surveys by engaging directly with customers to understand their water usage habits and provide advice on reducing water consumption.
·Inspect pipes and taps for leaks and perform on-site repairs where necessary.
·Work independently, covering a one to two-hour radius, with minimal office presence. You will start and finish your day from home, attending approximately 5-10 appointments daily.
Essential Criteria:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
·Hold a Level 2 Plumbing qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ).
·Possess a full UK manual driving license (no more than 6 penalty points).
·Have excellent communication skills to interact effectively and professionally with customers face-to-face.
