Salary:105,000 - 139,000 based on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stroke Consultant to join a dedicated and forward-thinking team in Derby. We welcome applications from both substantive and fixed-term candidates who are committed to delivering high-quality stroke care.
About the Role:
- Provide expert stroke care, including hyperacute, acute, and rehabilitation services.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to enhance stroke pathways and improve patient outcomes.
- Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and research initiatives.
- Support the education and training of junior doctors and allied health professionals.
Requirements:
- Evidence of entry on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months of attaining CCT at the time of the interview.
- CCT in Stroke Medicine, Neurology, or Geriatric Medicine (or equivalent).
- Experience in hyperacute stroke care, thrombolysis, and thrombectomy pathways.
- Commitment to teamwork, innovation, and continuous service improvement.
