Key Responsibilities:
  • Production of hydrological models and analysis for projects such as drought plans, reservoir refill studies, and energy cost reviews.
  • Provide water resource forecasts and monthly updates, delivering actionable insights for the business.
  • Present findings atkey forums and senior leadership events, offering risk mitigation strategies.
  • Respond to queries from regulators, councils, and customers on topics related to hydrology, flooding, abstraction, and water resources.
  • Support water resource strategies, drought planning, and business objectives through expert analysis of raw water quality, reservoir planning, and trend forecasts.
  • Qualifications & Skills:
What you should have:
  • Degree in Earth/Environmental Sciences, Geography.
  • Expertise in hydrological risk assessments and modelling.
  • Experience in data management, analysis, and catchment-level hydrological systems.
  • Skilled in preparing technical reports and exploring innovativeapproaches.
  • Proficient in using specialisedhydrological modelling tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management and project delivery experience.
  • Capable of delivering effective presentations to internal and external audiences.
