Position Overview

As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will provide expert, evidence-based support in case management, health assessments, and overall occupational health. This is a full-time, onsite position from Monday to Friday, with core hours from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm at a Derby location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Deliver evidence-based guidance on attendance, work fitness, and health management requests.
  • Report Preparation: Generate professional, thorough reports with clear recommendations.
  • Health Surveillance: Conduct medical screenings and health surveillance (including spirometry, audiometry, drug, and alcohol testing) according to industry best practices.
  • Occupational Health Services: Provide additional OH services as needed, such as vaccinations, ergonomic advice, and health promotion.
  • Team Collaboration: Offer clinical supervision and guidance to team members like OH Technicians.
  • Professional Growth: Maintain up-to-date NMC registration and commit to ongoing learning and development.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (Part 1) with current NMC registration.
  • Occupational Health Degree or Diploma preferred.
  • Proficient in key OH services, including spirometry, audiometry, case management, and medical screening.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and IT literacy.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with a visible dedication to delivering excellence in OH services.
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Occupational Health.
  • Valid NMC Registration and Occupational Health Diploma (if applicable).
Salary & Benefits
