We are recruiting a Primary Teaching Assistant on behalf of a lovely Primary school in Derby.
This is a long-term position with an immediate start.
Working hours: 8:30-12:30, Monday to Friday.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Provide Phonics interventions to a small group of KS1 students.
- Behaviour management.
- Support the teacher by helping to prepare and organise lesson materials.
- Foster a positive and inclusive working environment to ensure the engagement of all pupils.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with children is essential.
- Experience of teaching Phonics is desirable.
- Experience of using Little Wandle is advantageous.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable.
- Have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- Be able to provide x2 professional references.
