Opogo Eduction are looking for secondary supply teachers to join their amazing team of staff in Derby and Derbyshire. This is ideal if you're looking for flexible work. Candidates must hold a valid QTS and be committed to creating a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere.
Key Roles:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons.
Have an in depth understanding of the KS3/KS4 curriculum in their subject.
Use a variety of teaching strategies to engage all pupils in learning.
Build a rapport with a range of people including students, staff and parents.
SEND qualifications are desirable but not a requirement.
The Successful Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching in KS3/KS4
Have a strong understanding of the KS3/4 curriculum and valuable teaching practices.
Be passionate about teaching and committed to fostering a love of learning in children.
Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be able to inspire, motivate, and engage pupils including those with learning difficulties and SEN needs.
