LTF Recruitment are currently working alongside a excellent secondary school in the Derbyshire (DE72) area to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant for the new academic year (September 2024). This position is initally a 1 year contract, working with an identified year 11 pupil. The contract has the potential to turn permanant subject to a sucessful year.

Classroom Support:

  • Under the direction of the Inclusion & Behaviour Manager, work with your key student to support across the curriculum.
  • In liaison with teaching staff, plan, prepare and deliver the support needed, developing strategies to achieving positive behavioural outcomes
  • Support teaching staff with appropriate strategies when dealing with challenging behaviour
  • Ensure your pupil receives regular and constructive feedback with regards to their progress

You will be required to support your identified student throughout their school day as identified in their independent education plan, through the guidance of the Inclusion and Behaviour manager.
