Teaching Assistant | Derby | Derbyshire | £95 - £110 Per Day | Long Term to Permanent

LTF Recruitment are currently working alongside a number of excellent secondary schools in the Derby and Derbyshire area to appoint dedicated Teaching Assistants to support students with special educational needs. All positions are long term and have the potential to turn permanant subject to a sucessful year.

Classroom Support:

  • Under the direction of the Inclusion & Behaviour Manager, work with your key student to support across the curriculum.
  • Work on a 1-1 and small group basis, supporting students with special educational needs
  • In liaison with teaching staff, plan, prepare and deliver the support needed, developing strategies to achieving positive behavioural outcomes
  • Support teaching staff with appropriate strategies when dealing with challenging behaviour
  • Ensure your pupil receives regular and constructive feedback with regards to their progress

You will be required to support your identified student throughout their school day as identified in their independent education plan, through the guidance of the Inclusion and Behaviour manager.
