The Company

A market leading Principal Contractor who completes projects for major blue chip retail clients are looking to add to an M&E division. This business has over 20 years of experience within the industry delivering M&E packages across the retail sector. The company operates across the UK and nationwide travel and working away will be required.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

For this role you must possess the following;

  • 5+ years management experience working on Retail projects
  • Previous experience managing fast paced M&E packages (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical)
  • SMSTS Site Management Safety Training Scheme
  • 3 Day First Aid
  • CSCS Card (preferably Gold, Black or White)

The Role

As an M&E Site Manager,you are responsible for overseeing and delivering M&E works on retail projects ranging in value (50k - 750k) on a nationwide basis.

Duties

  • Manage the projects from concept to completion and ensure that the pre-development and construction process is effectively, safely and efficiently managed
  • Manage and mitigate potential risk
  • Responsibly requesting of labour, plant and materials and maintaining through to completion
  • Supervise the completion of schemes including the management of variations and snags
  • Health and Safety files to be compliant through daily maintenance
  • Adhere to the permits to work for site specific activities
  • Contribute to the protection of site individuals as well as general public
  • Review and implement RAMS
  • Prepare progress reports, monitor programmes, and sign off quality documents
  • Ensure that induction is carried out and records completed
