Our client is a leading product development company delivering bespoke products into a wide range of technical engineering environments. We have an immediate need to succession plan within our embedded software team and to that end am looking to recruit someone to fill the role of Embedded Software Engineer.
This role will be key in designing, developing, maintaining and testing embedded software for our wide range of products. You will have a number of years (at least 5) developing firmware for real time microprocessor based products using C and have some exposure to or the ability to develop hardware design of FPGAs in VHDL. If you dont currently have this skillset but have the right drive and ambition for the company we are happy to support development of this key skill alongside your established experience with software development. We would expect that after a period of embedding in the role - you will increasingly start to offer technical leadership to how our processes and systems can be developed and improved over time.
