Job Title: IT Support Deployment Specialist
Salary: £28,703
Location: Derby
We are looking for a dedicated IT Support Deployment Specialist to join our busy IT team! This exciting role involves providing comprehensive support to end-users and colleagues across all our sites, with a primary base at the Derby premises. Occasional travel to other sites will be required.
About the Role
As an IT Support Deployment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the IT Desktop Services team and collaborating with curriculum areas to meet their software needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Proactively assisting end-users and colleagues with IT support
- Configuring images and task sequences based on specific requirements
- Keeping operating systems and software packages up-to-date to ensure compliance with Cyber Essentials certification
- Managing a fleet of over 5,000 devices using SCCM, Intune, Azure, and JAMF
About You
To succeed in this role, you should be a self-driven IT professional with a passion for technology and staying updated on the latest developments. You'll need excellent problem-solving skills to handle automated deployments of updates and software packages. As part of a supportive and friendly team spread across multiple sites, strong communication skills are essential.
