Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Management Strategy: Set policies and expectations for requirements management across the SSN AUKUS project.
- Customer & External Engagement: Manage customer and external requirements, ensuring these are owned and cascaded within the internal teams.
- Requirements Assessment & Design Implications: Facilitate requirement trade-offs, assess design implications, and provide feedback to ensure alignment.
- Design Assurance in DOORS: Oversee the assurance of the SSN AUKUS design configuration in DOORS, implementing corrective actions when needed.
- Tracking & Delivery: Evaluate design and substantiation completeness, tracking progress to ensure the program meets its milestones.
- Systems Engineering Advocacy: Act as the single point of contact within the SSN AUKUS Chief Engineering team for requirements management and advocate for a systems engineering approach.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Strong understanding of Systems Engineering Principles.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with multiple functions both internally and externally.
- Engineering qualification, ideally with experience in Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) systems.
- Proven track record in delivery and program management.
- Experience in customer-facing roles.
- Familiarity with DOORS or other design configuration systems is highly desirable.
