Are you an experienced IT professional looking for a leadership role where you can make a real impact? Our client is seeking a dynamic IT Lead to join their team in Derby and drive their technological initiatives forward.  This role may involve travel in the UK at times to be able to assess against SOPs.

To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:

  • Developing and implementing IT strategies to support company objectives.
  • Managing IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Enhancing the performance of our MRP system, EFACS, to deliver insightful data.
  • Ensuring data security by applying best practices in IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with various departments to identify technology needs and propose solutions.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to translate Technical information to non technical stakeholders
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Within this position, you’ll also be:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in leading IT development and effectively communicating with stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under time pressure.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with MRP systems like EFACS, and knowledge of Javascript/SQL is a bonus!

Salary & Working Hours

  • £35,000 per annum
