Job Title: AV CAD Designer
Location: Hybrid (Office and Remote)
Salary: 35,000 - 45,000 pa (depending on experience)
About the Role:
We are seeking a talented CAD Designer to join our client and their forward-thinking team, specialising in Home Automation and Home Cinema solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative individual with strong CAD skills to design and visualise cutting-edge smart home systems. While experience in the AV industry is not essential, a passion for technology and innovative design is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed and accurate 2D and 3D CAD models for home automation and home cinema projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, architects, and technicians, to translate concepts into functional designs.
- Develop realistic renderings and visualisations to help clients envision their smart home systems.
- Stay updated on design trends, emerging technologies, and industry standards to enhance the quality of work.
- Ensure all designs meet technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
About You:
- Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in design work.
- Passionate about technology, with a keen interest in AV systems or smart home innovations.
- Collaborative mindset with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup, balancing office and remote working.
Desirable but Not Essential:
- Experience in the AV or home automation industry.
