The Credit Control Assistant will play a pivotal role in the Accounting & Finance Department, carrying out essential credit control duties for this Not For Profit organisation. The ideal candidate will be a team player who excels in a supportive and cooperative work environment.

Description

  • Manage and maintain credit control for the organisation.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts.
  • Regularly update the accounting system with financial data.
  • Contribute to the team's monthly financial reporting.
  • Deal with any financial queries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, contributing to strategic planning and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial legislation and best practice guidelines.

Profile

A successful Credit Control Assistant should have:

  • A recognised qualification in Accounting or Finance.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and systems.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to the values and mission of the Not For Profit sector.
