Randstad is looking for a Weighbridge Operator / General Operative to join a busy site. This is a hands-on role involving the operation of the weighbridge system as well as general yard duties to support site efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Operating the weighbridge - accurately recording vehicle weights and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Liaising with drivers - directing vehicles and ensuring correct paperwork is completed
- Assisting with yard duties - maintaining site cleanliness and supporting operations as required
- Ensuring health & safety compliance - following company policies and procedures
- Previous weighbridge or site experience preferred but not essential (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills for liaising with drivers and colleagues
- Willingness to assist with general yard work when needed
