Reed is collaborating with one of the world's largest logistics platforms, who are looking for a Global Forwarding Agent and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Day-to-day of the role:
- Understand and manage the processes and documentation involved in international shipping from the issuance of the purchase order to the delivery of the cargo.
- Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes and create solutions to challenges both internally and externally.
- Coordinate tasks on shipments to meet all customer SOP requirements including booking approvals, processing pre-alerts, governmental filings, executing delivery, ensuring proper invoicing, etc.
- Collaborate with international team members and third-party agents to ensure efficiency and excellent customer service.
- Build strong relationships with customers, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups on issue resolution.
- Provide reporting and documentation support to both internal and external customers.
- Participate in customer business reviews and continuously seek ways to improve service and responsiveness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school degree required.
- Minimum of 2 years of Global Forwarding experience.
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
- Strong customer service skills with a proven track record of interacting with customers and being client-focused.
- Critical-thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills to adapt to ever-changing tasks and customer needs.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

- Bachelor’s degree.
