Key Responsibilities•Managing the whole Sea Import process from start to finish•Bookings and managing subcontractors throughout the shipment process•Managing all customs processes where required•Assisting with Sea Imports wherever the company requires•Completing all billing activities in line with company KPI’s•Creating and developing a positive working relationship with your allocated customers•Contributing financially by maximizing gross profit on all shipments, and mitigating against any detention/demurrage/storage•Negotiating contracts, transportation and handlings costs? Checking and preparing documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packaging specifications, and compliance with overseas countries’ regulations and fiscal regimes? Liaising with and manage third parties in accordance with customer requirements? Arranging insurance and assist the client in the event of a claim? Communicating with the customer, maintain visibility and control through all phases of the journey, including the production of management reports, statistical and unit cost analyst? Helping and support local business development opportunities
