Job Brief:

A growing and thriving business based in Foston are looking for a Stock Controller to join their team. You will be running reports in the ERP which will show what Work Orders (WO) are due next month, and what parts are required.

Duties Include:

  • Picking parts from the 'free stock', reserving it to the WO in the ERP and bagging them up.
  • When a breakdown comes in, pulling the parts off the shelf, or if they aren't in stock, ordering them.
  • Responsible for checking any deliveries against PO on system, labelling them up and booking in, ensuring the parts are put into stock on the correct location Row/Bay/Shelf/Drawer etc.
  • When the engineers request parts, arranging for the shipments of these
  • Carrying out ad hoc mini audits

Eventually helping with the purchasing and ordering too

As the Stock Controller you must have a keen eye for detail. You will be closely monitoring stock to ensure right locations and correct count, so ERP is correct. You will also be able to pick up systems fast and be proactive.

In return you will be offered a salary between £22,000 to £25,000, depending on experience. Working week will be flexible to you, either 30 - 40 hours Monday to Friday with flexibility on start and finish times too, plus 25 days holiday.
