Salary: £29,000 - £30,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Painter they will be responsible for the preparation and application of paint tooling.
  • Preparation of surfaces ready for paint spraying of tooling to specification
  • Report any defects to the relevant team
  • Ensure the correct shot blasting surface finish is applied.
  • Responsible for ensuring that paint to be applied complies with the paint specification sheet
  • Ensure all surfaces have been evenly painted and that there are no misses.
  • General workshop duties including the good housekeeping of the paint spray area.
  • Operate and maintenance of sand blast equipment.

Key Skills
  • Proven knowledge and experience in paint spraying
  • Previous experience using hand-held tools.
  • Ability to read and understand build instruction manuals to ensure products conform to specific
  • dimensions and meet required standards.
  • FLT experience is desirable.
  • Some previous mechanical/manufacturing knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Valid driving licence and passport.(Essential)
  • Willingness to travel within the UK if required
