Job type: Permanent placement

Working hours: Day shift (flexible start and finish) 7am/8am- 4pm/5pm Monday to Thursday and an early finish on a Friday

Ristara Engineering is working in partnership with a reputable precision engineering company who are currently recruiting for a skilled reliable Schedule Planning Engineer to join their team.

Specialising in CNC turning, Milling, Grinding and Inspection delivering quality and satisfaction for their clients in Aerospace, Agriculture, Autosport, Marine, Medical and Rail.

Due to the nature of the market our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents.

Responsibilities and Duties are required for the Schedule Planning Engineer role:

  • Create, manage and update project schedules
  • Ensuring projects stay on track and within budget
  • Allocate resources to optimize work flow and prevent delays
  • Track project progress and against the schedule and identify potential problems and propose solutions
  • Experience working with engineering drawings and route cards
  • Experience within a machining environment due to the nature of the business
  • Aerospace experience preferable
  • Schedule planning for a shopfloor of 30-40 staff
  • Customer facing so require good communicational skills

Qualifications and Skills are required for the Schedule Planning Engineer role:

An Apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds qualification is desirable
