A thriving Derbyshire-based Family Department is excited to announce a rare opportunity for a talented and motivated 4-7 year PQE Solicitor or Fee Earner to join the team.Â
As a family solicitor within this team, you will be expected to handle a diverse range of private family law matters. This position is ideal for someone who is self-sufficient, proactive, and eager to mentor junior team members and trainee solicitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and advocacy in private family law, including:
- Separation and divorce
- Financial remedy applications
- Financial matters for cohabitees
- Private law children matters
- Manage cases with minimal supervision
- Engage directly with clients to deliver personalised legal solutions
- Travel between our offices as required to meet client needs
Desirable Qualifications:
- Qualified Solicitor or full CILEx qualification
- Membership of Resolution and adherence to its code of practice (preferred)
- Willingness to participate in marketing initiatives to promote the firm and team
